Show notes:
In the first segment, our panelists discuss the Department of Veterans Affairs’ newly announced task force to investigate and eliminate alleged anti-Christian discrimination within the agency. Prompted by an executive order from President Trump, the initiative encourages VA employees to report incidents perceived as hostile to Christian values. While supporters hail it as a defense of religious freedom, critics argue it risks privileging one faith and deepening division within the veteran community.
In the second segment of the show, we explore the court case of Nick Rolovich, the former Washington State University football coach fired after requesting a religious exemption from the COVID-19 vaccine mandate. Rolovich, a practicing Catholic, alleges that university leadership deliberately undermined his exemption despite a panel approving it. After losing in district court, he is now appealing to the Ninth Circuit, raising broader questions about religious rights and institutional accountability.
