Joseph Richards is the Legal Counsel and Director of Public Affairs and Religious Liberty for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Canada.

In 2009, Joseph Richards graduated magna cum laude from the National Programme at the University of Ottawa, obtaining degrees in Civil and Common Law over a four-year period. Finishing with the highest overall standing in his class, he received the Right Honourable Brian Dickson Award, along with the Michel W. Drapeau Award for leadership and academic success and the Torts prize.
